As libsndfile now supports MP3 files (since version 1.1.0), and MP3.jl is unmaintained. I wonder if we could get MP3 file support for libsndfile.jl. I've been toying with the code, but I'm very new to Julia programming (and I'm not a programmer in general), so I haven't had a lot of success.
