Dear PhasicFlow users,Could anyone please explain how the solid volume fraction is specifically calculated in PhasicFlow when particle overlap occurs?

The particle volume fraction is calculated using post-processing. Follow this tutorial to see how you can set it up.

But, as you know there is partial overlap (but still very small) in soft-sphere models and this is inevitable. At the moment we dont use any special treatment to correct for these overlaps. If you want very accurate volume fraction calculations, you may need to use higher material stiffness to reduce the overlap between particles during simulation.

Could you tell me if it is possible to extract the number of particle collisions over a period of time in PhasicFlow?
