[BUG] Compact does not check the drive space usage

Is there an existing issue for this?

Current Behavior

Running compact on a drive with 100Gb available, with a 200Gb vhdx file, will fill up the drive and potentially result in a error.

Expected Behavior

A pre-check is needed before allowing compacting to ensure that space is available.
