Toggling the panel should enlarge the window, not hide the main feature.
Or like Windows calc, you should have a compact mode, where you can only do very basic operations, and a button that toggle the enlarged layout, where you directly have history panel and co.
-When resizing, the shape change of the buttons feels like a broken UI
That's really weird, button should remain 1:1 ratio, or the shape should be square with round corners then.
-Calc result display never resizes

It's almost perfect, both in term of feature and UI, and that's what I would love to see in a dedicated Calc app.
