potential legal troubles with Google Fonts in EU

Due to EU privacy laws, there have been several lawsuits when websites use Google Fonts, see https://www.ra-plutte.de/lg-muenchen-dynamische-einbindung-google-web-fonts-ist-dsgvo/ (German).
However static usage of fonts is not problematic.
Thus it would be preferable to integrate the font into this repository so that it it isn't loaded from Google.

But it seem that 5 months later there are no change at all about that...

You can always create a pull request that solves this issue ;-)
However I'm not sure if the maintainers of this repository are active anymore, the last commit in the v3 branch was three years ago.
