I have started using the folder type instead of the text in my scripts. One issue I've encountered is that when a user leaves the field empty, Praat automatically fills it with a path relative to the script directory.
I was expecting this field to return an empty string so that I could verify it and alert the user if they missed the field in the form or pauseWindow`.
I wanted to ask if this is the intended behavior for the long term, or if there is a possibility it might change in the future to allow for empty returns? It is okay if it does not change, as I can find a workaround, but I wanted to check first.
