Couple random question

I decided I ask them all in one place.

1. Is there any reason transition_duration is under "#[Manual transitions]" section in example config and not directly under transition_mode
2. Are the value in a config the one you would personally recommend or are they just an example of what is possible? What value do you use? I have never used blue light filter on desktop before.
3. Is there any advantages of using sunsetr with hyprsunset or can I just drop the later? I guess rpc is nice but I don't have use-case for it atm anyway.
4. in v0.6.0 changelog you mentioned "Hyprland's hyprsunset v0.2.0+ forces its own transitions that can't be disabled" but did you mean to say "startup transitions" instead?

1. Yes. The transition duration for geo mode is handled by automatic calculations using the selected geo coordinates. It maps the trajectory of the sun over that location as close as possible, therefore it doesn't require manual configuration.

2. Yes. I use the recommended (default) settings because they work well for both Hyprland and Niri. Sometimes when waking up early is critical, I will turn the night gamma and temp lower to settings that incentivize me to get off my PC. You can even use the "finish_by" transition_mode, max out the transition_duration at 120, and set the night_temp to something ridiculous like 1000 and night_gamma to 50. By the time it reaches your desired bed time, you'll be ready to get off the PC. I find this setting just does something to your brain and slowly shuts it down.

3. The advantage of using sunsetr with hyprsunset is that it uses Hyprland's own protocol and allows you to take advantage of any current and future integrations they might have with the compositor and its ecosystem. At this stage, however, using the Wayland backend in Hyprland is pretty much just as good as using the Hyprland backend.
