Work done as a part of the Image and Video Computing Course(CS 585) at BU
The goal of this notebook is to blur an image of a person. The algorithm involves taking the average of a pixel and its neighbors and then storing thid average value in the corresponding position(these values are stored in a new image to ensure the old pixel valuea aren't lost).
With the help of the classic computer vision technique of template matching, the goal is to identify 4 hand signals :
1.)Thumbs up 2.)Thumbs down 3.)Open hand 4.)Peace/victory
