TATTOO AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
FIRST 2-4 HOURS:
- Keep bandage on for 2-4 hours after your session
- Wash hands before removing bandage
FIRST 2 WEEKS:
- Wash gently 2-3x daily with unscented soap
- Pat dry with clean paper towel (never cloth towels)
- Apply thin layer of unscented moisturizer
- Do NOT pick or scratch the tattoo
- Avoid submerging in water (pools, baths, ocean)
- Avoid direct sunlight
- Wear loose, breathable clothing over the area
LONG-TERM:
- Always apply sunscreen (SPF 30+) when exposed to sun
- Keep skin moisturized
- Avoid tanning beds
CONTACT YOUR ARTIST IF:
- Excessive redness or swelling after 3 days
- Pus or unusual discharge
- Fever or signs of infection
